What we look for

  • Production engineering — you have shipped systems and kept them running.
  • Ontology and typed-data thinking — schemas, graphs, provenance.
  • Direct ownership — you are comfortable being responsible for a whole system.
  • Eligibility for Canadian security clearance, or willingness to undergo screening.

What you get

  • Hard problems — intelligence software for defence and regulated enterprise.
  • Sovereign deployments — your work runs on infrastructure the customer owns.
  • Small team — no layers between you and the system you build.
  • Production or nothing — no demo-ware, no shelf-ware.

A note on eligibility. NordHird builds software for defence and government customers. Certain roles may require eligibility for a Canadian security clearance, which can involve Canadian citizenship or residency requirements. Where this applies, it will be stated in the role description.
